I'M NEW

Welcome! We invite you to join us for a service this Sunday. We realize that checking out a new church can be an intimidating thing. So, if you have any questions while you are with us, just stop by the Welcome Table before or after the service. We’d love to meet you!

WHAT TO EXPECT

As you plan your first visit, please make use of the following information to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible when you arrive. Still have questions? Check out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

WHAT ARE WORSHIP SERVICES LIKE?

Wed love to have you join us for our Sunday worship gathering at (10:00am). We encourage you to come as you are, dressed in whatever is comfortable for you. It is our hope that the environment is welcoming, friendly, and authentic. Our services are about an hour and fifteen minutes and consist of worship through music, various readings and responses, prayer, sharing communion together, and expository preaching from the Bible - which means we preach through the bible verse-by-verse and book-by-book. Our music seeks to incorporate various styles, cultures, and traditions. Our songs, in addition to all other service elements, are chosen to focus our attention on the truth and joy of God’s gospel.

WHAT PROGRAMMING DO YOU OFFER FOR CHILDREN?

We offer a full kids ministry program on Sundays for Infants - Elementary. When you arrive on Sunday, look for a sign that says “Children’s Check-In”. At this station, we will register your children (including allergies/medical conditions) using our church’s online software program called Four Oaks Connect and receive a pickup tag. Children join their parents in the worship gathering for about 25 minutes during the singing and liturgy, then are dismissed prior to the sermon and escorted to their classes. We value your children and want to provide them with a safe and secure environment so they can learn about Jesus. Screened and trained volunteers will care for your children and maintain strict adult-to-child ratios to help ensure their safety.

WHAT ABOUT SACRAMENTS?

The word ‘sacraments’ refers to the worship practices of Communion and Baptism which are vital means of grace in the life of every Christian. At Four Oaks, we take communion every week as a part of our gathered worship service. We also regularly celebrate believer’s baptism by immersion on Sundays. Anyone who has made a genuine profession of faith and desires to walk in repentance can be baptized (Matthew 28:18-19). We would love to walk with you as you take this opportunity to announce the change that has taken place in your life and proclaim that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins.

WHAT IF I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

That’s completely ok! We’d be happy to address any questions you have about the Sunday services or about the church in general. Take a moment to fill out the form below and someone will be in touch within a day.
