Serving with our Operations Ministry
Our Vision
We desire to welcome people into our church the way that God welcomes us into His family through the gospel of Jesus Christ—with love, grace, and truth. The Sunday Morning Operations Team can adorn the gospel and encourage faith, or it can besmirch the gospel and dishonor the name of Christ.
As part of this team, you play a huge role in setting the tone for worship and helping people prepare to hear and respond to the word of God. So, regardless of the position you are serving in, you are a spiritual ambassador for the local church and help to establish others’ first impressions of our church. We hope those who enter our church are pointed toward the gospel in a way that accurate reflects the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Our Values
Gospel-centered: The way we serve one another is a reflection of God’s love for us in the gospel of Christ.
Heart-oriented: Our welcome and love for one another comes from the heart and engages others’ hearts. We are called to serve with hearts of affection and compassion, and as God provides opportunity, we can look for ways to minister to others.
Grace-dependent: As we depend on God’s grace, our love for one another leads us to meet whatever needs a person might have (or find someone who can). This could be making sure signs are properly displayed, ensuring that Children’s Check-in looks neat and efficient, or simply helping to guarantee they walk into a clean space.
Spirit-filled: Our warmth and effectiveness as a team depends on the work of the Holy Spirit in and through us. We invite His leading in every interaction.
God-glorifying: The goal of operations is to facilitate worship. We want to remove anything that might distract from people opening up to the Lord.
